Biography

Professor Chukwuemeka Joachin EJIEJI joined the services of the University of Ilorin in 1984 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the rank of a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering on 1^st October 2016. He obtained B.Eng (1979) and M. Eng. (1983) in  Agricultural Engineering from University of Nigeria Nsukka. His Ph.D. in the same field was from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 1998. He specialized in Soil and Water Engineering with research interests in Irrigation, Agrometerology, Agrohydrology and Crop growth and development modelling.   He is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and belongs to professional bodies which include Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers, Nigerian Society of Engineers, International Tillage Research Organization and American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. He has severed as External Examiner in some Nigerian universities and attended international and national learned conferences.
