Doctor Murtala Olayode Iyanda graduated from the University of Ilorin in Ilorin, Nigeria with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering in 2019. In 2008, he began working for the University of Ilorin in Ilorin, Nigeria. On October 1, 2020, Iyanda advanced through the ranks to take the position of Senior Lecturer in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department. He has held the positions of Head of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department, from 2020 until 2022. He served as Senior Agric. Engineer with Lower Niger River Basin and Rural Development Authority between year 2000 and 2008. He also worked with Kwara State Teaching Service Commission between year 1997 and 2000. He has supervised many undergraduate and master degree students.

B.Eng.(1995), M.Eng.(2005), P.hD.(2019). Unilorin.
