Timothy Denen Akpenpuun, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, brings over a decade of expertise in teaching, research, and community service. Since joining in February 2013, he has been actively engaged in teaching and administration, serving as a students’ advisor, admission clearance officer, examination officer, and Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme SIWES representative. He is a member of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology Conference (FETiCON) organizing committee and Ethical Review Committee. Dr Akpenpuun serves as a section editor for the Nigerian Journal of Technological Development (NJTD) and reviews for multiple journals. He was formerly the coordinator of the Community-Based Experience Scheme program (COBES). His research interests include greenhouse horticulture, plant factories, smart farming, greenhouse climate and energy simulation, agricultural waste management, and agrometeorology. His expertise in these areas has led to the publication of several articles in reputable journals and edited conference proceedings. He has also supervised several undergraduate dissertations.
